KITCHEN TABLE, 2019

Kitchen Table, 2019, depicts a series of interactions between a faceless woman and items on the table in front of her, exploring the physical attributes of various food items and their behaviour when faced with different human actions. The film visualises a series of futile exchanges between the subject and various food items which could be seen to demonstrate discontentment with the home environment and our relationship to food. It is unclear whether these exchanges act in tandem or represent separate experiences.

FRUIT STUDIES, 2020

Fruit Studies, 2020, is an ongoing project portraying playful interactions between fruit and the mouth without the expected result: the act of consumption.

Breakfast with Negative Space, 2019

Breakfast with Negative Space, 2019, presents the futile act of trying to fill the negative space of a cup and bowl which has been presented as a plaster cast in ode to artist Rachel Whiteread. The piece questions what it means when a cup does not ‘cup’ and a bowl does not ‘bowl’.

Beautiful Apartment with Stunning Views, 2018, was a site-specific installation created in a short-stay apartment. The piece examines the transient nature of spaces created to appear as a home-away-from-home. The artist stayed in the chosen location, working within the space over a number of days. The video above shows documentation of the final sound and visual installation.
